An idea becomes something else when a young person realises they can make it themselves. That's what keeps me returning to education.
Designing and delivering filmmaking, animation, stop motion, digital storytelling and creative technology projects for schools, young people and communities. Creative production work since 2018, with expanded management responsibilities from 2025. The role spans planning, staffing, resources, partner relationships, budgets, safeguarding and delivery.
Led and supported filmmaking programmes through Signals, bringing young people into professional film production and connecting them with visiting industry practitioners, screenings and Arts Award opportunities.
Advice, specialist sessions and practical guidance for emerging screen and media creatives.
Practical and accessible creative mentorship supporting individual development and confidence.

Behind every good public experience is a hundred small decisions. I enjoy both sides: the big creative idea and the unglamorous business of making it work safely, on time and for the people in the room.
Front-of-house and operational duty management in a contemporary visual arts venue: visitor care, event and cinema readiness, keyholding, opening and closing, incident response, handovers, practical coordination and working with artists and teams.
Organising filmmaker networking events, building creative connections and supporting Essex Film Festival activity.
Supporting public heritage events including Myth, Magick and Mystery and Moon, Magick and Mystery, with guest, production and visitor-facing responsibilities.
Creative event management and practical public-facing delivery.
Managing independent production crews, schedules, locations, budgets, collaborators and project delivery from initial idea through to the finished film.

Good content needs more than a camera. It needs a reason to exist, an understanding of its audience and enough care to make somebody stop scrolling.
Working with Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham on social media strategy, campaigns and public-facing communications. My work includes planning content, creating campaign assets, managing posting schedules, monitoring performance and helping more people discover the charity's events and support services.
Editing, creative production and digital storytelling across established YouTube channels, from gaming history and cryptocurrency to my own investigations and folklore films through The Bethnal Archives.
Promotional, documentary and public-information filmmaking for cultural organisations and community projects, including work around Colchester Carnival, Colchester's Masterplan and local stories.
I am especially drawn to the stories hidden in ordinary-looking places: the coast I grew up on, overlooked local histories and the people who can still tell us what happened there.
Thirteen-part heritage video series developed with Signals and partners.
Further community and historical storytelling.
Personal histories and community voices, including films relating to Noah Morris, I'm Indian But... and Marwan.
Landscapes, coastal heritage and the people who give these places meaning.
Further local history productions about landmarks, technology and the stories they hold.
My work behind the camera extends to portrait photography, model shoots and editorial imagery. I favour theatrical light, bold colour, hard shadows and photographs that feel like a scene from a film. Selected work has appeared in photography publications.

As the creator, writer, producer and on-camera contributor to the Bethnal Archives, I explore unusual histories, local folklore, haunted places and the strange stories that cling to them. It is part research, part exploration, and always an excuse to ask one more question.

On-location paranormal research, investigations, heritage-led films and an expanding catalogue of stories about the places and traditions that haunt the British imagination.
This work also connects to my book How to Hunt Ghosts Without Losing Your Head and regional folklore projects.
From the earliest film credits and festival screenings to cultural leadership, arts education, heritage and digital communications, the work has taken me in more than one direction. Here, you can explore the credits most relevant to the collaboration you have in mind.
